Ask The Passengers by A.S. King

Every March since I was in 8th grade I've been going to the NY Teen Author Festival. It's a great time to see your favorite authors or meet some new ones. Because I missed last year (concert. I was sad.) I made sure I could go this year. I met Victoria Schwab, one of my favorite authors.
A.S. King was one of the authors there with her book Ask The Passengers. I was told but another book reader to BUY THE BOOK AMD READ IT. And I did. I read it. And now I'm telling you to read it. Ask The Passengers is a refreshing book that just gets what it's like to be a teen. You questions things, feel ignored, confused about everything. A.S. King created such a loving character. Astrid felt real. She wasn't just a fictional character. This book should be read by everyone. It's possibly one of the best books I've read that hasn't been science fiction. Definitely a much needed book. Especially considering how every book I picked up has been boring me.
So please dear reader, pick up Ask The Passengers. A great book the will hold a spot as the first book on my top shelf for a long time.
